President's Message
Jackie Lopez-Perry

We are team.

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Sensational South Jersey Chapter of Jack and Jill of America established in 1954, and I am humble and elated to serve as the President of this Phenomenal chapter and serve alongside women that possess tremendous skills and talents and who have a sincere interest in creating opportunities for All Children. Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated brings families together to cultivate meaningful experiences for children that instill leadership, civic, cultural, educational awareness and skills that aid in the maturation of children ages 2-19. These experiences are the catalyst for the rich and sustaining lifelong relationships and friendships and are part of a learning and rewarding journey. Jack and Jill of America, since its founding in 1938, has held a steadfast resolve to enrich the lives of children and imbue them with a sense of purpose and responsibility as emergent leaders in their communities; and now decades later Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is still fulfilling its core mission and vision to empower our future leaders.

Our 2021-2023 Chapter Theme is exemplifying: Leadership, Service and Programming. As President of the South Jersey Chapter, my vision is to ensure that our members and children have a quality and meaningful programming experience that is aligned to our National strategic thrusts and provides opportunities for personal enrichment and growth through Leadership, Service, Programming and Mentorship. As our focus is on all children, we embrace the recommendations of Jack and Jill’s “We Are One'' Taskforce that promotes awareness, inclusion and support of differently-abled members of our Jack and Jill family and all children. The South Jersey Chapter will focus efforts in strategically developing strong community and corporate partnerships that work and support community outreach services for children and families where food insecurity is prevalent and resources are scarce. Our chapter partnerships will also encompass National Strategic Initiatives, like the InRoads program, a high school college and career readiness program to ensure that our children are prepared to meet their post secondary goals. We are indeed proud of our Jack and Jill legacy and history and remain committed to our Jack and Jill motto — "Let’s Work, Let’s Play and Let’s Live Together!"

Each year, the South Jersey Chapter fundraises. A share of all proceeds of our fundraising benefit the Jack and Jill of America Foundation – our philanthropic arm, as well as, local charitable organizations that serve children, teens and young adults in the South Jersey community.

As you peruse our Chapter Website, you will appreciate our rich history, love for our families, and a desire to serve our communities. On behalf of our Executive Board, Members, Associates, Father’s Auxiliary and our children – Welcome to the Sensational South Jersey Chapter Website.

Long live Jack and Jill!

Yours in service,
South Jersey Chapter President
